DESCRIPTION:Dogfest 2024 Returns to The Baltimore Humane Society\n\n\n Save the date for DogFest 2024! \n\n\nThe ultimate canine extravaganza is taking place at the Baltimore Humane Society on Saturday\, September 14th\, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Join us for a day jam packed with fun activities and support our shelter animals in need!\n\n\nDogfest 2024 Activities Overview:\n\n\n Fun games and contests for you and your furry pal\n\n\n K-9 demonstrations by the MD Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services K-9 Unit\n\n\n Agility & lure course for dogs\n\n\n Swimming for dogs in our Dippin’ Dogs pool area\n\n\n Dogs can partake in TORC. TORC combines the fun of tricks\, conditioning and obedience skills\, where teams traverse through a course\, scoring points along the way\n\n\nHave your dog tested for the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen.\n\n\n\nKids Kennel- Pet-themed arts\, crafts\, games\, and a bounce house in our kids area\n\n\nDelicious treats from our food trucks\, shopping at our vendor marketplace\, and more\n\n\nDogfest 2024 Details:\n\n\nPrepare yourself and your furry friends for an action-packed day! Pups and their people will have a blast with thrilling games and activities like Simon Says\, a speedy 20-yard dash\, bubble chase\, paw painting\, and endless playtime in the sand pit! Not only that\, but your dogs can try out an incredible agility course and even earn the prestigious AKC Canine Good Citizenship Award.  Talk about impressive\, the C.G.C test is an opportunity to demonstrate your dog’s good social manners and earn a title. And that’s not all- incredible doggy demos by The Department of Public Safety & Corrections Services K-9 Unit will amaze you.  \n \nContests:\nHold onto your leashes\, because we’ve got some fantastic contests and prizes for your beloved pooches. They can compete for the titles of Best Costume\, Best Kisser\, Best Dancer\, Best Owner/Pet Look-alike\, Catch the Treat\, Musical Sit\, and Best Pet Trick\, all judged by a panel of local celebrities. But wait\, there’s more! The kids will be set up for a great time with pet-themed arts & crafts\, face painting\, and a bouncy house – fun for the whole family! \nVendors and Food:\nDon’t forget to explore the vendor marketplace and meet some adorable adoptable animals at the pet rescue groups’ booths. You might just find your new furry family member! And of course\, all that excitement can work up an appetite.
