Unique Pet Cemetery Concept – “Garden of Faithful Friends”
Everybody is familiar with the idea of arranging for funerals or cemetery choices before the time that it is needed. But what is one to do with the four-legged, furry, or feathered members of their family. Some people say they are closer to their pets than to other people. Human parents have mentioned that they are at peace, knowing their pets that have been so important in their life are taken care of. Pets can be buried in a cemetery plot, or if cremation is desired, cremated remains can be entombed in a columbarium or buried in a cemetery lot.
Bronze memorials may be designed that reflect this important connection, dates of birth (or adoption) and death, and can include pictures, or bronze representations of specific pet breeds.
Dulaney Valley Pet Loss Center in Timonium, Maryland offers Faithful Friends, the region’s first pet memorial garden allowing the burial of both pet parents and their pets. Each lot contains a space for one pet to be laid to rest at the foot of the pet parent’s space. For more information, visit Dulaney Valley Pet Loss Center or call 443-318-4689.
