Dogfest 2025 Returns to The Baltimore Humane Society
Save the date for DogFest 2025!
Join the Baltimore Humane Society for their annual DogFest event! Come have a fun day with your canine pal and show your support for the shelter animals at the Baltimore Humane Society in Reisterstown, Maryland on Saturday, September 13 from 11am to 4pm with a rain date of Sunday, September 21.
Dogfest 2025 Activities Overview:
Your pup can dive into the fun with activities like:
- 20-Yard Dash
- Tetherball
- Dog Bowling
- Paw Painting
Fur-bulous contests like Best Costume, Catch the Treat, Best Pet Trick, Best Kisser, to the Musical Sit, there’s something for every dog and owner to enjoy and participate in! Let your dogs splash around in the Dippin’ Dogs pool area, or showcase their skills in the agility and lure courses!
Don’t miss exciting demonstrations by:
- Chrissy Joy and her Bone-A-Fied Talent Group at DogFest! Don’t miss this high-energy, trick-filled canine show!
- The Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services K-9 Unit
- Dog Owners Training Club
Got kiddos in tow? They’ll have a blast at the Kids Kennel with pet-themed crafts, face painting, games, and even a bounce house!
Want delicious food? They’ve got you covered with tasty bites from food trucks, enjoy music from a live band, and paws-itively awesome shopping at our vendor marketplace!
Help them fill their van with items from their wish list! You will be supporting the animals at the shelter & those hungry and in need pets in our community.

Contests:
Hold onto your leashes, because we’ve got some fantastic contests and prizes for your beloved pooches. They can compete for the titles of Best Costume, Best Kisser, Best Dancer, Best Owner/Pet Look-alike, Catch the Treat, Musical Sit, and Best Pet Trick, all judged by a panel of local celebrities. But wait, there’s more! The kids will be set up for a great time with pet-themed arts & crafts, face painting, and a bouncy house – fun for the whole family!
Vendors and Food:
Don’t forget to explore the vendor marketplace and meet some adorable adoptable animals at the pet rescue groups’ booths. You might just find your new furry family member! And of course, all that excitement can work up an appetite. There will be a wide variety of delicious food and treats available for purchase throughout the event, satisfying both two-legged and four-legged appetites.
Parking is free at BHS, and in case of rain, we’ve got you covered with a rain date on Saturday, September 21.
