Paws in the Park Dog Walk and Fest is coming to the Montgomery Co. Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg on Saturday, May 17, 2025!

Paws in the Park is an exciting, dog-centric, pet loving festival now in its 24th year! Hosted by the Montgomery County Humane Society.  This is the event every dog in Montgomery County (and beyond) looks forward to — a festival created just for dogs, their people, and anyone who loves pets and wants to help animals in need.  The event includes a dog walk, agility competition, entertainment, vendors, food trucks, games, contests, prizes and more!

Paws in the Park attracts about 800 pet enthusiasts (and their dogs!) for a day of family fun that also supports the life-saving work of the Montgomery County Humane Society. 

Please note: retractable leashes will not be permitted at this event.

Cost – Advance Online Pre-registration- $20 per person by 3pm May 16th.   On Site the day of the event- $25 per person and dogs and kids under 12 are free.  Event proceeds benefit the life-saving work of the Montgomery County Humane Society, Inc. 601 S.
