My husband and I rescued our dog, Lana, in January 2015 and on the second day, we learned that she was heartworm positive. We were told by the rescue organization that we had to use their veterinarian, Rolling Hills, for treatment since they would be covering the cost. We did so reluctantly with the expectation that we would return to our vet after she was cleared of the heartworm. After 8 months of treatment, Lana tested negative this month and I can’t say enough good things about Rolling Hills Animal Hospital. Through the 8 months of treatment, Dr. Gividen and his staff were so very caring, knowledgeable, very thorough, and always treated Lana as though she was their own. When Lana experienced problems with the medication during the first two months, Dr. Gividen was very responsive and patient while he modified her treatment to help her get through the issues. I am very discriminating when I select a veterinarian, and I have found Rolling Hills to be top-notch. They won us (and Lana) over and we are now a permanent client.
